Make believers out of your clients

At MFX, we believe...

You don’t stop moving because you’re old. You grow old because you stop moving.

Get data-driven insights you need to baseline and advanced your clients – progressions to support any age or ability level.

Introducing MFX movement sensor technology that gives you concrete movement data to:

  • Create a powerful plan of care
  • Track improvement
  • Show effectiveness to clients (or other payers)

From rehabbing an injury to slowing muscle loss, you’ll have the movement data you need to make a difference in the clinic and in daily life.

Better Objective Data = Better Clinical Outcomes (and Satisfied Clients)

Clinical observations & traditional measurements only take you so far...

Not Concrete

Your memory of how today compares to last time only does so much to show value to your client. This doesn’t cut when clients pay out-of-pocket and expect an elevated experience with clear results.

Measure the Wrong Thing

How do you measure a sit-to-stand? Or balance while walking? The dynamic nature of functional movement leaves you using words or random metrics to try to convey how your client is doing.

Lack of Sensitivity

You know your client is improving. And it’s frustrating when you don’t have a sensitive enough tool to measure a movement and justify more treatment.

Supplement your clinical observations with tangible numbers that show progress.

MFX gives you a way to measure what previously was subjective or ambiguous. There are 16 movement performance tests with testing parameters that make gathering data quick, consistent, and usable. Our assessment covers whole, upper, lower body functional movements, balance, and reaction time.

How MFX Supports Your Clinical Process

This MFX system includes user-friendly sensors and an app you load onto an iPhone or iPad. The testing protocols cover a variety of skill levels from fine-tuning for return-to-sport to working with an older adult on eccentric muscle control for sitting in a chair.

The Old Way

The MFX Way

Balance Assessment

Outdated assessment tools that rely on subjective interpretation and testing skills in ways that don't relate to daily performance.

Sensory technology supplements clinical observation to give numbers to what you're observing.

Sit to Stand

Attempts to capture progress is limited to the amount of assistance number of reps, and clinician description of safety or movement quality.

Slow progress by reporting on velocity, power, and amount of control when the patients is both sitting and coming to a stand.

Strength Assessments

Traditional measures of strength like MMT or grip strength don't demonstrate overall functional strength in a way that's easy to correlate to quality of life.

Get a better picture of strength in the dynamic ways your client moves.

Collect strength data like velocity and power while your client throws a ballistic ball or wears a sensory.

YOUR MISSION IS OUR MISSION

We want to see people moving, feeling, and living better.

We started in sport performance, then shifted to movement performance across the whole lifespan for an important reason.

We looked around and saw people in their 50s & 60s who were struggling to walk, get out of the house, and do daily life. This is unacceptable with what we know about how to improve movement health.

So we set a new bigger vision around impacting community health by using knowledge from sport performance technology to slow the loss of muscle, strength, and balance that comes with aging. In practical terms, we want to see more people going strong at age 80 and beyond because they were empowered to keep moving.

Obviously, that not a vision we can accomplish alone.

That's why we're committed to partnering with movement professionals at the leading edge of providing high-quality, holistic care.

Movement performance isn’t just helpful for athletes. Movement health & performance is a necessity to prevent decline with age.

Let’s work together to help your clients…

The Science Behind Our Tech

The technology we offer today was born out of 5 years of working in sport tech performance.

In fact, we spent over 3 years working in world-class clinical and sports settings to test, refine, validate, and publish results to create a top-notch program. That work set the blueprint for the product we built for successful use in today’s clinics & healthcare settings.

How It Works

Behind each easy-to-use testing protocol and sensor unit is complex science for assessing and providing feedback on movement performance.

Simply use MFX sensors & testing protocols and you’ll get concrete data that supports your work.

Why It Works

This sensory technology was built around the power of velocity-based training (VBT) on neuromuscular performance.

VBT trains the nervous system to improve muscle recruitment and firing patterns, resulting in more efficient and effective movements. This leads to better balance, coordination, and overall functional capacity, promoting a healthier and more active lifestyle.
